We are relieved to share that Bibek Thapa, a Nepalese student at BPP University in London studying BSc Applied Management, has been found safe. UKMandu located him at Farringdon Station with the help of Mausam bhai and arranged for him to return to his former roommates.

UKMandu reports that his health is okay. This update replaces the earlier appeal asking the community to help locate him.

The earlier missing-person appeal

According to his friends, Bibek had said he was going out for work. They reported that they had not seen him or been in contact with him since 2 September 2026.

UKMandu shared a community appeal with his photograph and student details, asking anyone with information to get in touch. Those details reflected what his friends had told us at the time.

Thank you to Mausam bhai and our community

We would like to give a heartfelt thank you to Mausam bhai for helping us locate Bibek. We are also grateful to everyone who shared the appeal, contacted us or helped spread the word.

Knowing that people were willing to look out for a fellow member of the Nepalese community mattered. We appreciate the time and care given by everyone who supported the appeal.

The next step is support

Bibek is facing some university-related difficulties. Our focus now is on helping him work through those challenges with kindness, understanding and practical support.

We are keeping the details of those difficulties private. Please respect his privacy and avoid speculation about why he was out of contact. Anyone who may be able to offer relevant support can contact UKMandu privately.

Please share the found-safe update

If you shared the earlier missing-person appeal, please update your post or share this article so people know Bibek has been found safe and is back with his former roommates.
